El asesinato aparentemente ocurri\u00f3 el jueves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luego de la muerte de Amado Carrillo Fuentes, sus hermanos y algunos hijos siguieron operando el c\u00e1rtel de Ju\u00e1rez, con sede en la ciudad fronteriza de Ciudad Ju\u00e1rez, al otro lado de El Paso, Texas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante a\u00f1os, el cartel de Ju\u00e1rez estuvo enfrascado en una guerra territorial con el c\u00e1rtel de Sinaloa, que hab\u00eda entrado en el estado de Chihuahua, pero en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os un ala del c\u00e1rtel de Ju\u00e1rez, conocida como \u201cLa L\u00ednea\u201d, se separ\u00f3 y comenz\u00f3 a operar por su cuenta.
