La periodista hab\u00eda pedido apoyo para liberarlo en una conferencia de prensa matutina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u00f3pez Obrador envi\u00f3 una carta al presidente del Consejo de la Judicatura Federal, Arturo Zald\u00edvar, para solicitar que el caso se revisara. Zlad\u00edvar le comunic\u00f3 por escrito que se hizo una revisi\u00f3n del caso y que la jueza del distrito hab\u00eda decretado la libertad inmediata del joven, quien ya hab\u00eda cumplido su pena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAyer mismo envi\u00e9 una carta al presidente de la Suprema Corte. \u00c9l me respondi\u00f3 ayer de que iba a intervenir de tratarse de un asunto urgente de atenci\u00f3n a una violaci\u00f3n de derechos humanos\u201d, asever\u00f3 el mandatario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De acuerdo a la periodista Valenzuela, Rafael M\u00e9ndez fue encarcelado en enero de 2008 en Valle de Bravo, acusado de delincuencia organizada.
